First Aid
NBJFC would like to say a huge thank you to Michele Bistrup for once again running the first aid refresher course at the club on Friday night the 19th. All in attendance would agree that it was a very informative night and fun night!
Michele suggested all first aiders download the following two apps on their phones:
- Emergency + (GPS location for any emergency services) and
- HeadCheck (Concussion Check)
The club has organised a first aid tent to be set up every Sunday at the club. This tent will be manned by qualified first aiders who are there to support you if you require assistance.
Please also be advised that the clubs defibrillator is kept behind the bar should you require it.
Players Teas
Each team will be allocated a Friday throughout the season. The Social Coordinator will email the menu to the coach and manager three weeks prior to the dinner reminding them of the date. Menu selections and numbers are to be emailed to the canteen contact 7 days prior to the dinner.

Footy Fundamentals Term 2
Don’t forget that term 2 of Footy Fundamentals is set to kick off on the week of the 6th of May. The program is aimed to prepare our kids for the future. It is a carefully planned and structured toddler AFL Program, which encourages your active toddlers to develop fundamental movement skills in an AFL environment.
Members of the North Beach Junior Football Club have been given $19 discount for term 2, at which children from the ages of 2-5 are welcome to learn the fundamental movement skills and an introduction into AFL.
Use the discount code “BEACH” to receive your $19 off.
The program runs for 7 weeks and is split into 3 different age groups:
- Toddle Kickers (2-3 years)
- Mini Kickers (3-4 years)
- Kindy Kickers (4-5 years)
There are several different locations that you can attend to at:
Warwick, Claremont, Joondalup, Alkimos, North Fremantle, Currambine and Dianella
For more information go to: footyfundamentals.com.au
Registrations Still Open – 3/4 & 5/6 Girls
Yet again the North Beach Junior Football Club has had record numbers and is the biggest football club in the league!
We still have spots available in our Girls Youth teams, in both the 3/4 and 5/6 teams. If your daughter or someone you know is interested please contact Jon Sharp jon@thewhiteroomagnecy.com.au asap! Games are played on Friday nights and training is Wednesdays from 4pm to 5pm at our ground (Charles Riley).
Auskick
Allocation Day: for all registered players we will be holding an allocation day at the club on the 28th of April, please arrive by 8:15am for an 8:30am start. The morning will be about putting everyone into a team then selecting the coaches and manager for each team. We should then be ready for the first session on the 5th of May at 8:30am!
Coaching Information Sessions
For all of the amazing parents either coaching or helping to coach Auskick this year there will be an information session run by Claremont Football on Tuesday the 30th of April at our club rooms (Charles Riley), it’ll begin at 6pm and the evening should end around 7/7:30pm.
The AFL has invested a lot of money and resource into developing a new system for Auskick, including a heap of online videos and resources to make it as easy as possible for you. During the session we will show you how to run an Auskick session and also where to find the videos and resources (if you’ve never played or coached before you’ll find it quite easy). We’ll get everyone involved and run through some drills and games out on the oval that you can do with the kids so bring your runners! There’s no need to RSVP and everyone is welcome.
