A huge thank you to everyone who attended, our major sponsor Wise Wines and all the business who donated to make the night a success.

Life Membership – Nominations
Life membership is an honour bestowed on individual club members whose exceptional, loyal and outstanding service and contribution has a provided measurable benefit to the club over an extended period of time.
Honorary Life Membership is recognised by the North Beach Junior Football Club as the highest recognition that can be awarded to a member in acknowledgement of exceptional service and contributions. As such, it should retain its prestige and not be awarded easily and the club and its committees should in no way feel that a life member needs to be inducted each year.
Nominations can be made at any time during the football season and the deadline for nominations in any
given year is July 31st. Please read the below guidelines and contact registrar@nbjfc

Girls Update Brought to you by Matera Electrical
Year 3/4 North Beach v Joondalup Kinross Falcons
There’s no stopping these girls – another convincing win and great sportsmanship from the Year 3/4 team in damp & muddy conditions! Well done to our star players Isabella and Ruby T and thank you to our fabulous coach, Amy, for all your guidance and encouragement!

5/6 North Beach Red v Joondalup Raptors
It was a very hard game of football against the Joondalup Raptors. Our girls tried their best to the very end with the end score, not a true reflection of how hard they played. Award winners Hannah Young and Milly Kok
5/6 North Beach Gold v Quinns Bulls
After a slow first half, the girls really got going once they started playing some exciting team first footy. Sharing the ball by hand and giving the ball to the first option available. As with each week, our strong tackling was a real feature. Make sure we learn the song this week ☺
Award winners Ailish, Tyler, Armani, Isabella and Malia

7/8 North Beach Gold vs Brighton Blue
An impressive first quarter into the wind and selfless, team-orientated football facilitated a third straight win. Milzy “Diesel” Russell, Jessica “Wheels” Wheeler & JK “The Wizardess” Garlett amongst the best.
9-11 North Beach Red v Marist
North Beach Red played a tough defensive game against top of the ladder Marist Black. The girls played a fantastic game and worked well as a team but Marist was just too strong. Best on ground went to Ruby, Amalie and Kate
9-11 North Beach Gold v Warwick Greenwood Knights
A great win by the North Beach Gold against Warwick Greenwood
Junior Update Brought to you by Midas Plumbing
Friday night footy was the name of the game last week at Charles Riley Reserve and what a perfect night for footy it was. To recognize one of our valuable sponsors the nights was named ‘The Ballpoint Derby Round’.
There were 2 derby games, one being the Yr 5’s and the other Yr 6’s. There was plenty of excitement among the players as they got to experience their first taste of footy under lights at their home ground. To top it off the Yr 5’s headed back to the clubrooms for their player’s dinner after the game.
Well done to all the families that headed back to the clubrooms after the game for some dinner and refreshments afterwards.

Please take the time to know who they are and support them when possible. A big thank you to Dean Kearns from Matera Electrical for taking on the Sponsorship Coordinator this year.
