Year 6 Derby – Sunday 5th of May

The Blacks led for most of the game however the Golds came back resulting in a very pulsating and exciting last quarter. The Blacks were victors by 1 point. Well done to the players and the volunteers of both teams.

Thank & Respect the Umpire Round
In response to the incident involving a Junior Umpire last weekend, the WAFC is promoting ‘Thank & Respect the Umpire Round’ this weekend.
We are requesting that all coaches address their playing group pre-game and explain that they will be thanking and respecting the umpires for the integral role that they play in our game.
Please ensure that you acknowledge the umpire and shake their hand in front of your players and spectators before and after the game.
It would be greatly appreciated if coaches, as leaders within your football club, could also communicate to spectators, parents and volunteers, the vital part that all umpires play in community football.
Please help us show respect to all umpires this weekend.
